Hi everybody!

i'm kinda new to this playstation emualation stuff and recently downloaded the latest version of Epsxe hoping to play Chrono Cross on my computer. After i finally got into the game i noticed some problems with sound skipping using the eternal 1.3 plugin and some guy on the internet told me to ask you guys for help cause you were all really nice.

I was just wondering if anybody knew how i could fix this and what settings to use and also what settings to make it look good using pete's opengl. my computer is a AMD Athlon XP 1700+ --- 512 DDR ram --- Nvidia Geforce 3 TI --- Aopen 56X cd rom --- Sound Blaster Live 5.1 --- and i'm running windows xp home edition

any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Ok try changing your sound buffer to 20 and also make sure that the spu irq option is not enabled in the emu core. Also use the square game option in eternal.

BTW I'm going to move this to problems with games.

ok thank you for the sound help, it seemed a litter better now but i was wondering under the configuration for the plugin what "audio out method" should i use? and could you posibly tell me what to do with my video settings using pete's Opengl? I already went to psxfanatics and read the guide telling me what the things did but they wern't really clear to me on which ones would make it look better cause i don't think i need to worry anout framerate with my GeForce 3

Enable real time configuartion with eternal sound plugin.
That will allow you to find the best sound settings for your computer.
