someone might have already pointed this out. but for me, i need to know why the ff9 after battle sequence so slow? is it my cdrom config? video (ntsc 60 fps?), what is it that is wrong? oh and what might be the best config. for xenogears and ff9? really appreciate it if someone help me out.:confused:

Please let us know your system specs so we can see. Play the games off an ISO if possible, for the best performance.

And here is my best config, works great on most game.

Right after the battle scenes, the psx loads the stats scenes from the cd.. Hence, playing from an Iso will fix this.. There may be also some slowdown during the stats scenes after battles.. The fix is to use a lower resolution or have a high end comp..

i found that the menus are slow for be just becuase i have epsxe congif to give the best 3d quality and if setting that have screen smoothing and FSAA at a high res it will be slow.

if i have a 32mb video cards, should i chose vram 32 or 64?
