Problem with ePSXe memory card and Castlevania: SOTN

Well, it just doesn't load the game!

I try running the CD, but after the Konami screen it says there is no data on the memory card!

In the DOS window I get 'The memcard [null] has NOT been saved to disk"

Any ideas?

How are you exiting the game after you have saved and ready to exit? I know that you have to first press escape but then do you goto the file menu and click exit (the correct way) or just click on x in the upper corner (the incorrect way)? You see, if you want to be absoulutly sure to save your data you must exit from the file menu. If you use x then your data may not be saved.

10x but it's not that. I tried the CD with other emulators. It gives the same problem. I haven't played the game and haven't made any saves at all.

When I checked the CD, it gives errors on 3 of the files. I guess it's because of that :( :( :(
