How can I see the battle menu?

I had the same problem with bleem whe I used D3D, I had to disable it. It's pretty anoying
enable/disable all the time.

You need to use a plugin that supports off-screen drawing (Pete's or Lewpy's, don't know if any of the others support it) and then enable it. I can't remember now if Lewpy's also required experimental page flip enabled or not.

Or if that doesen't work try switching frame-skipping off... that helped me on FF9
maybe it works on FF7
