in 2d backround games when swiching backround i get a sort or strang thing inbetween like i dunno well i hope yah know what i mean here are my setting tell me how to get rid of this please or is it usall becuase i can live with it is it the cd rom setting but here is my gpu setings

cd rom plugin is epsxe one or peop or somethings one please help or even my sound plugin im using epsxe but is there a better one and what settings hsould i have it on thanks!

Could you try to give us more details on your trouble,cause I personnaly can't tell you what's wrong and how to fix it.
Tell us which game and your specs.

maybe its your filtering....... set it to "none" first and see if it fixes the problems

like what Raziel said, I also don't get you about your problem. You also made me quite confuse about the backround=background thing. Well just post what games your playing and its much better if you can give us a screenshot of it... just press F7 and it will be stored in the snap folder. Then convert it to jpg format and post it here.

F8,it's F8 to take screenshots,F7 is for the Xenogears dream sequence fix ;).

umm well i can't do a screen shot it goes too fast but it like emulator puts the image in first then make it fade in in the game resident evil for example when i start a new game it gose to the words you the they escaped into the masion and so on the it quickly flashes in the backround while it writing it and then flashes it out quickly then it goes black then the backround fades in with the character talking, i hope that exspalins it more. it like another backround or something well hope yah can help cheers

thanks for correcting me raziel...mis type that one.

to get a screen shot, you could slow your frame by setting te frame limit like to 30 or less.

Just a guess but your offscreen drawing might be set too high. try either 2 or 3
