well first of all this is not a dream sequence or deus lockup. I've spent the last couple hours searching for anything on this subject, but only found deus and dream info.
the lockups i'm experiencing happen in the begining of the game in three different locations.
where the lockups occur:
1. if i look through citans telescope.
2. if i try to leave lahan (other than by heading towards citans)
3. after fei kills the gears in lahan and citan suggests he should leave town. (this is the most annoying lockup as i can't move on with the game)
each time game locks up at a black screen. these are not random lockups.
setup:
epsxe 1.5.2
peops 1.5
win nt/2k cdr driver
have tried both no sound and epsxe core sound
bios 7502 / 1001
have tried f7
have tried f4
also tried epsxe 1.2
tried both original cd and iso (ccd and isobuster)
they don't seem to help, lockups still occur.
system:
xp 1800
gf 3 ti500
768 ddr 2100
80 gig ibm deskstar
lastest vid drivers, chipset drivers, yada yada.
anyone else had these same lockups happen or have any ideas on this, it's got me stumped. or anyone have a memcard save not far after the lockup i'm getting? thanks.
