Bishi Bashi PSX Series

Does anyone know whether any of the Bishi Bashi Series for PSX will work with ANY version of epsxe? I've tried 2 and 3 with epsxe 1.4.0 and 1.5.2 and neither works on either. I know these games work with bleem, albeit with some timing issues :D (like in the disco mini-game in bishi-2). I've tried several versions of Pete's GPU, internal SPU with no luck. I think I've seen this game listed as not working on some older compat. list, but was wondering if anyone has had luck with these.

This really is one of the better "party game" series for those who have not tried it. Personally I'd rank it above Crash Bash PSX and Ooga Bonga Dreamcast.

I forget the version...I think it was Bishi Bashi Special. I saw my friend's sister play it. Run from iso (perfect)...and she play it with joystick.
I don't know the plugin configuration, but my friend use epsxe 1.52, pete's 1.61, eternal 1.30 on his P3-800EB, 256MB, GeForce 2/MX200 32 MB, Creative 128 PCI....
