Macross VF-X2 Ending freezeups

Hi. Does anyone have a problem with a freezeup after your character destroyed Macross 2 with Markfiorina Banrose in the final stage of the "good guys win" ending ofi Macross Digital Mission VF-X2? It seems that your character flies back to Macross 12 with the Red Valkyrie and then the emulator would drop you into an infinite black screen. Any thoughts and suggestions on how the final level could be reached?

I have the same problem too. I would try passing that stage using VGS, but I havent and couldnt try as I am using XP.

Hmmm..The same problem exists if you choose the "evil trumphs"
ending when you kill Gillian and Markfarina Banrose. So I think something is definitely wrong.
