everything is running fine but the Rendersequences got no sound and games like Resident evil got no Speech
iam using eternal with standart settings
The best way to find the problem is to first check your hardware, check if you hear sound in all other apps too, so that would confirm the problem with the emulator.
Now try using different plugins to see if they work. Then see if you have enabled XA audio (in the emulator), and other sound options.

I'd like to know how that problem was fixed exacly because i have same problem (no sound during RE3 cutscenes and no speech, otherwise sounds work perfectly). I believe i have tried everything possible (P.E.Op.S. DSound Audio Driver 1.1, Pete's DSound Audio Driver 1.15 , Eternal SPU Plugin 1.30, ePSXe SPU core 1.5.2) with different settings (like that usually solution, Enable XA sound) but still nothing. Oh and i have tried using both the original CD and Bin (and the problem can't be in CD because it's working correctly with PS)
I have
Athlon Thunderbird 1400Mhz
GeForce2 MX
SoundBlaster Live Value
WinXP

WinXP AFAIK, that's a known bug on the latest epsxe, check out this thread for possible solution.

Nope, those tips did not work (with older versions of epsxe not only sounds wasnt working, but the entire game was messed up). Thanks anyway.

I have been having probs with Megaman Legends... The speech would give out sometimes early~ I think I should report this to the eternal crew... anyone here on this BBS that works on the project?
edit: I really do think its an SPU problem if anything...
