Metal Slug X

i try to play metal slug x on my pc with die 1.52 version of epsxe but i only geht the loading screen then i can chose 1 or 2 players and than i only have a black screen and my pc reboots could someone help plz?

i tried this game on 2 different pc now but its every time the same. a black sreen an then the pc crashs. what could that be?

what you need to do is get updated to epsxe 1.6, then get all the neccessary driver for it, my setup right now is:

video:
P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver 1.16 (plays metal slug x fine, no gliches)
(when you configure it use the default "Nice" settings)

sound:
Pete's DSound Audio Driver 1.14
configure to your preference

cdrom:
ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2.
dont need to configure

also i run my epsxe on windows xp, with 512 ram on a pentium 4 3.2 and a nVidea GeForce 5700 LE graphics card

i hope this **** helps, cause all i had to do was change my video plugin and it worked fine after searching forums for ****ing 5 hours, i just ****ed around and figured it out so best of luck late.
