My FF9 disc one has a scratch or something on it because when i get to a certain ATE .. it goes black and cant read that part of the disc , i know its not the emulator because on my friends playstation it does the same thing , so i was wondering if there was a way to skip that part of the disc somehow with the emulator or if someone could make a savestate for me , right after this part. It could aslo be a merory card that has ff9 on it .. i use the USA codes .. thx alot

If you tell us which part specifically, maybe we can provide you with a save. The only way to get around this is to make an iso of the game but its not sure it will work...

Try an ISO and see what comes out of it, also it might be worth taking the disc to one of those places that tries to polish out the scratches.

Its in the village of Dali , right after u come from the Ice Cavern ... it gets stuck on the ATE of THE PRINCESS TRIES , if u could get me past the whole dali part , that would be best ...

Erm just checking but you might be able to get past that point by yourself by not playing the ATE.

AS for isos try isobuster

There's an instruction thread below:

Nope , i have already tried that ... it dosent work i just need someone to make a savestate past that part , its right at the begining of the game so it would be really easy to do.

Actually,as Betamax said you could just not select that ATE,see all the others and skip that...i just saw it and then created this save. Its the same thing!
