ALL of my other games work, but... when I try to play CTR, it hangs on the "Sony Computer Entertainment" screen... IF I get it past that, it claims that there are no controllers plugged into the port. Any ideas? Here's my config:
Duron 1GHZ, 350+ MB PC133, Voodoo3 3000, HP CDRW, SB Live! Playstation to USB port (also used regular controller)
plugins that are being used:
Lewpey's 3dfx / Pete's DX6, NTSC mode, Pete's CDR ASPI... OH... and I have Win98... w/ 1.5.2

I've tried EVERYTHING. I've tried making an ISO image, I've tried different settings, I've tried pushing all the keys (f-keys) it seems to now just hang on the "Sony Computer Entertainment Presents" screen, and basically plays all the sound files. I'm getting pretty frustrated, 'cause... ALL of my other games will work, except this one... I've got the whole Crash Bandicoot series, they ALL work except this one. Not sure why. Anymore ideas?

CTR needs the SPU IRQ hack, in the sound options.
Don't know what the issue is with your controllers though.

I got the controller error as well. I found if I tapped F4 and F5 a couple of times as it was loading it would work. Otherwise it runs flawlessly.
The "lockup at sony" screen might be the BIOS revision. I keep the 1001 and 7502 BIOS's and I find any games that lock up at one won't do it on the other.

THE SOLUTION TO THE WHOLE PROBLEM RIGHT THERE!! hehehe... I enabled SPU IRQ hack... runs perfect!!! It still has a few sound glitches, but... I don't care as long as the game works. :) Thanks for the help, it was GREATLY appreciated.
