Hi everybody, this is my first post on this forum. First of all,to the people at EPSXE, you make great work with your Emu! Nah really, I love it! :D

But as with all such things I also have a slight problem and I hope you can help me with it.

I used to have a standars MS Sidewinder Gamepad and played my PSX Games with them on the PC via EPSXE, it worked perfectly. But as you all know the standard Sidewinder doesnt really feel like a Playstation Pad and so I decided to buy something new. First, I wanted to get a converter for a Dual Shock PSX Pad but I didnt really trust those little Boxes.;) So I bought a Thrustmaster Firestorm Dual Power Pad and was amazed at how good it works with the Emu... Well... until I wanted to play Final Fantasy Tactics with it.

The point is, I currently have three Games as ISO on my HD they are: Arc the Lad 2, Xenogears and FF Tactics. The first two games seem to work without problems (though it seems to me as if Arc the Lad2 has some remapping Problems with one Button, but its no big deal and I am no perfectionist), but FFT wont react to any Gamepad input. I push all the buttons, the digital and analog Sticks and nothing happens. The game runs normally but I cant do anything.

Ok... thats my Problem, can anyone help?

:D Hej Man! Now that was easy. It works! Ok, could you tell me what F5 does? Changing from Digital to Analogue Mode or something like that?

Yep that's it, and since FFT doesn't support the Dual Shock, your controller couldn't work, now, enjoy that great game ;).

:) Sorry, but I have a fresh new Problem with my otherwise fine Thrustmaster.

Ok, I am playing Arc the lad at the moment. Force Feedback wont work at all and the game confuses the Circle Button with the L1 Button. Interesting is though, that when I change Force Feedback from "DirectX" to "Burutter" (whats that anyway? ) the Buttons are mapped correctly.

Anyone here who can help me again?:emb:

force feedback doesn't work in epsxe with winxp.. It did work on my thrustmaster dual power in win98se though, after I reinstalled directx8.. Strange thing is, rumble works perfectly fine in my PC games.. :)

Like I said, I reinstalled directx.. I uninstalled it with those directx uninstallers, then reinstalled directx 8.0a..

:o Hm. I installed DirectX8.1b now and Force Feedback works again. I still wonder though, FF worked before than just simply stopped and now it works again. Ah well, I guess I shouldnt think about huh? Well then! Lets finish Arc the Lad 2.
