Chrono Cross Help , Cant start the Game

Can EpsxE play chrono Cross ?
if so , what plugins and settings should i use ?
i cant get it to play so far :confused:

Yes,Chrono Cross works with epsxe.The plugins that you are going to use depend entirely on your system.With your specs you should use pete's ogl v1.63 with these settings and eternal spu v1.3 with the square game fix.I recommend you make an iso of the game so you get perfect sound and mdecs.Move to problems with games please

Where do i change that ? i changed the rest

In the plugin's configuration menu check the box "Update before accessing register".I guess it should work now

hey guys , same prob .

i using the epsxe emulator version 1.5.2
pc specs : Amd Athlon 1400mhz
geforce 2 mx 32 bit
win 98se
640 mb ram
40gig hd ( not that is matters)

I tried teh specs that Bositman suggested but it didn't work , can anyone else here tell me the plugings they used and how they configured em ? and also what bios file to use ? the 1001 or the other one ... The help would be really appreciated.

still no luck , the screen stays balck ... ah well unless someone has a miracle solution .. no Chrono Cross 4 me

I think you have problem with CDR,use seven's CDR plugin if you don't know how to change your CDR plugins.

Hmm if indeed the problem is the cd as i stated before try making an iso...but if the cd is badly scrached then there is no way it can work

i can play Chrono Cross here with lewpy's it gets a little slow but normally can play, here are my specs:
OS : Microsoft Windows 98 (v4.10 Build 1998)
DirectX : DirectX 8.1 installed
Processor : Intel Pentium II, 301Mhz (1 off) (00/0634)
16kb L1-I, 16kb L1-D, 512kb L2 (on-chip)

Even if you did not post a direct lik to an ISO, the simple fact of distributing ISOs is illegal. Raziel is right, don't do it again. Read the rules.

chrono cross is very cool game i love final fantasy but chrono cross is the best carnt wait for chrono break
