I tried karate-do for a couple of months when I was 18 yo, it was fun learning all the katas & their techniques ... though I stopped after some serious life troubles, and started training JKD (JEET KUN DO) by myself :) ... Karate-do had a good effect on me concerning how to think as a marital art's disciple ... its good to see you practising it the way its shown in the photo ^_^ ...

Yep, there is a japanese park in my city with lake included.

Karate do has certainly influended my life in more way that I can mention. It has polished the perfectionist that lives inside of me and has given me confidence to fight against anything. It gives you a "you can do it/you have faced worst/this is nothing" mentality that helps makes worders for you in today's society.

lol i agree with squall plus the smaller the town = less pollution(mainly, carburants and chemicals floating in the air), dust and noises. So smaller town are better, as for entertainment actually i get way more at the country side (if you ignore the internet part not that there isn't but its not as speedy as within the city).

automerge is down to like 15 minutes and does not work on quotes or posts with content other than text in them....deleting was removed just as plain policy by the new owners, one of the best things about becoming a mod though was that I got it back XD

Almost saw a car being blown off the road as well.

I often look exhausted though that's mainly due to my small eyes (agrevated by being "scared" of the flash) but in this pic I was also concentrating heavily on pressing the button on my phone (it needs quite a hard press which usually is fine but holding my phone out in front of me like that proved a little difficult without shaking the picture to hell)

Well the problem is my skin is too sensitive for me to stay clean-shaven so I end up with a day of being clean shaven and then 3-4 days of stubble before I can shave again and that looks more like I am simply too lazy to shave than a beard does so I don't get much a choice in the matter.
