I just moved it into Web development/ Programming.
Free space? :hmmm: That's a hard one. Most free hosts, like Geocities, ask you to put up ads and stuff. I had good experiences with SU Host, so you might wanna try there.
HTML help.... have you tried your local library? I know it sounds a little mundane, but there are good books out there to help.
The dummies books are a good place to start.

A good pay site is the one I'm currently on: 40Mb space
15GB Bandwidth
FP extensions, CGI support, and other stuff
It only sets me back about £12 per year, that's around US$18!
(BTW, I'm not on commision!)
There are probs loads of free sites out there, but if you think you will get quite a few hits, it's probs worth foking out.

Free space, i would use www.angelfire.com. For a good tutorial site on html go to www.webmonkey.com, then for some indepth coding www.dynamicdrive.com, also check out my l8test creation, for my TFC Clan, im [m00]Grasshoppa, www.m00clan.org, for free redirection, www.n2v.net. THis makes your site address www.sitename.n2v.net, not www.angelfire.com/games/name/index.html. So give that a try, hope that helps.:)

Yeah umm i have made a few sites...I started out with Yahoo! Geocities and used the ****ty Pagebuilder...lol...don't use that. Well if you want to learn HTML i recommend going to HTML Goodies (http://www.htmlgoodies.com) and if you want to learn javascript go to Dynamic Drive (http://www.dynamicdrive.com). Now if you would like to have unlimited webspace and bandwidth go toCrosswinds (http://www.crosswinds.net)this is for free!!! If the url they give you is too long for liking...go toCJB.NET (http://www.cjb.net)and get a url redirection. Well thats it for now. If you want anymore info email me at:

sasha99@austarnet.com.au the

ok bye

I think the best way would be invest your money in buying a HTML book, the one with the CD. It would help you a lot coz the CD included will help you step by step.

Once you learn the basic, then have someone who learn web design to teach you the more advance stuff. Good luck on your website!:)

It might also be a good idea to buy a book about Design in general, since many websites are technically ok but badly designed.

Take out a book at your local library. That's how I learned my HTML.

Free web space (hmmm.....) toughie. I guess Geocities is out of the question because they just got rid of FTP support for free customers. Try Freeservers or look for some on Google. I think I saw some good ones there

I agree. Even you are a good html encoder but lack skill in design, your website will not be that appealing to others. So good encoding should also work hand in hand with good lay out and graphic design.

I can't really create pages because I lack design tallent. Any type of design error can eat me alive. That's why I never create pages anymore
