i thought i've read somewhere that fm3 will crash in all emu during battle if you attack the leg

it crashes when you are in battle with a wanzer with a destroyed leg...the litte sparks get the game to crash

but you can activate the button to interrupt the fighting scenes, so perhaps you can just abort them before the emu locks up.

I don't have tried it but perhaps it is a solution for the problem
