Syphon Filter 2/3 problems

Hi I'm having trouble with Syphon Filter 2 and 3. When I create a backup, ePSXe won't load the games, which forces me to make a savestate with the original CD which works fine.

what did you use to make the backups and were there any errors?

I used CDRWIN and no errors.

Sorry can't quite follow you. Are you saying that the only way to get the game to run it from a savestate. If so it sounds like a fecked up backup to me.

yea I have to use a savestate created by the original copy, then I can just put in the backup, press esc to get out of ePSXe, then load the savestate, the game runs fine from there on out.
