I have had this problem after getting 1.38 and 1.39 of Lewpy's. It's the only fastest one I have and it worked fine in 1.36. The problem is that I had the settings on the right ones in 1.36 and when I have the newest plugin I get this flickering around both top and bottom boarders. I tried everything but nothing is working. Here the info on my plugin. Perhaps there is something I need to activate or deactivate. Notice it was fine even in ISO!

Help me plz!

Prolly Lewpy's latest "TileS - clearonswap" detection is causing that, and you can't turn that off (yet), afaik.

What about in Pete's OpenGL plugin? I tried all combination of special fix but no luck...

So I should stick with 1.36 then? That is the one that works!

Disabling "Force Screen Clear" will correct this (well, the borders will be in a strange color, but at least it won't flicker anymore).

I went out at the weekend and bought Spyro 2 UK PAL ... and it doesn't have a problem :(
Can someone send me a save-state from Spyro 2 or 3 NTSC, right when the problem is occurring? Thanks.

Does it need to be using your plugin? (I don't have a 3dfx card.) If not, I'll send you one on Wednesday if no one has yet. I can't do it now as I am currently moving...

I will send you one. But, as I said, it works fine for me when "Force Screen Clear" is disabled (no flickering, but a strange color).

I received a save-state from Zephon (thanks!), looked at the problem, and corrected it.
Very simple fix, once I knew what was going wrong.

All I can suggest for now is that you use another plugin for NTSC Spyro2/3, until my next plugin version is released. As usual, no direct timescales on this, as I am still working on the VSA-100 blending stuff.
