I just got this game and it's pretty sweet.. Looks really good too.. Well on my Geforce 4 that is.. REsolution is at 960x720, 4xFSAA, Anistropic Filtering to 8... Max settings for game.. Runs full speed(60+fps) with no slowdown what so ever.. :)

A nice shot to the back of the head..

I know this game uses the Quake3 engine, but damn.. The graphics surpass quake3!!

Weird gun.. Must be sorta old.. This guy was a bad shot.. Had to take him outa his misery.. The details on his clothes is awesome..

that game looks awesome even on my savage 4, lol! :) (cant use my savage 4 as i have no agp slots..)

Hmmm you are severely underusing your video card. =D I have a geforce2 gts and can run it at 1280x1024x32 or 1600x1200x16 or 1024x768x32 2x fsaa... you can prolly do 1600x1200 4xfsaa, but then again i am on an athlon xp 2000+, so...

but anyway, the 1600 is prefered since at that res fsaa isn't even needed in my opinion.

Damn...I have to play this game again when I get a new pc. Couldnt enjoy it in its glory with my 500Mhz, GF2MX :(

what model cpu u got hanamichi? i can run this game on this system, minus the video card, this comp and my savage4 (when i had my socket7 with an agp slot, it broke:() could run it nice at 640x480 with the anisitropy filter (yes savage4 supports it) just turn down the quality and res settings, and use aldo's speedup and set priority to real time, and close EVERYTHING out :) it works :)

heh, look at the pretty graphics on everything... then look at the boxes in the first few pictures... can't they at least make it look real? i've seen boxes like that in max payne and other games.

IIRC they're not boxes, they're radio equipment or some electronic device.

Mine's a P3-500 with 256MB PC100 of SDRAM. It works and I finished it, but what I meant was I couldnt enjoy the graphics. They were all tuned down to the level that those shots look like a whole different game to me. :eek: Thanks for the suggestions though :)
BTW I remember seeing a mechanic repairing the "boxes", so demigod is right.

for about medium detail its not very high, my specs (see sig) minus this video card, can play rtcw in medium detail (except textures) at a playable rate, a few minor skips in some areas but certainly playbale :)
