CVG (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/news/news_story.php?id=47394) is now reporting that Metal Gear Solid Substance is not Metal Gear X but a whole new Metal Gear game.
Yesterday it was revealed that a new title, Metal Gear Solid Substance, was in development, which was thought to be the elusive "Metal Gear X" - an update to PS2's Metal Gear Solid 2. Now the Japanese release has been translated, it appears that Metal Gear Solid Substance is a new title due for release on PS2, Xbox and PC, with a further Metal Gear title due two years later. Furthermore, Konami plans to investigate the possibility of an online Metal Gear title in the future.I found it interesting that the MGS games will be coming to the X-Box. Will they breath life into the console?
Only time will tell.

It probably would but only a little, since the PS2 and the PC is going to get it as well that wouldnt really push up sales for the Xbox...
Unless some major tweaking is done , that is.
