After quite some time, I again pulled this game out of my stack and started playing and thought of a review here at NGemu.
So how r u gonna rate it? I'll rate it 4 out of 5 due to some blocky graphics.
I'll give it 4 too, owing to t using the UT engine, which doesn't really like anything but Voodoos.

i give it a 5... its my favourite ever first person shooter... and yet also manages to be on my top rpgs list :p i loved this game... the replay value is really high because the character you play can be sooo much different every time, but every time i play, my character ends up as a sniper :p

I gave it 5 because it is one of the best action RPGs Ive played. The story-line was the best part of the game. The graphics may not have been excellent but it's story that counts for me. Up there with the top..:)

Yep!! Only two fps's made me play them to the end. Dues ex because it's so mindfull and Serious Sam because it is soooooo mindless :D

I love detail.......and man the game has detail..........................there is so many things you can do.......
it's so good.............................too bad i'm not going to play it again fearing I will lose another month of my life to it:D

I'm giving it a 5 beause I enjoyed it alot. I thought the graphics were pretty good, and the way the story could change made me try a whole bunch of different things.

There will be Deus EX 2? I'm looking forward for that. I like Deus EX, for being a great first person RPG. :) And it even has multiple choices of storyline.
I gave it a 2 cuz you had too shoot your complete clip at an enemy to kill him. Even with a rifle.
Maybe i expected too much of it and when i finally played it wasn't that good.

you only had to use a full clip if you kept missing (which is why you advance with your firearms skills) or if the enemy was really tough... you were probably trying to play the game completely differently from how it was supposed to be played... this isnt a duke nukem type of fps, its more of a thief type fps... btw, your cursor gets smaller and smaller when u aim, thats how you know if you hit something, and if you run around your aim goes down... its more realistic that way anyways.

I gave it a 5. It is the best FPS game I have ever played, and one of the best RPG's.
I prefer the thief way of playing.

Is the game anything like System Shock 2? I got bored with System Shock 2 before finishing it, so I never really had great expectations for Deus Ex. (I always had the impression they were similar.)

I don't like dues ex (donno why) but I prefer Max Payne ;), the best fps game i ever play. I also like to play Counter-Strike a lot :) but i don't like any game that use unreal engine because it is mindless...

that doesn't surprize me max payne is shooting like all hell and then bullet time then shoot agian.. Dues ex isn't like that.

this game is probably bad for people who like the concept of going in with impossible odds, and coming out unscathed... it isnt until the end of the game that u can run around taking little damage... and that is if you use all of your nano abilities and suck up your energy... but mainly most people play it as a sniper, picking off 1 or 2 people at a time, running into the shadows, then coming back.
