Is there any thread about "the best game FMV or cinematic scene(any platform:PS,PS2,DC,PC,etc)" ?
Well if there isn't. Why don't we start right now ?

Metal gear solid.
When game ends that song makes the last fmv really a treat to watch and hear.

There are lots of my favourite FMVs, and one of them that could be considered best is the opening scene of Final Fantasy 8, the battle between Squall and Seifer. Combined with the excellent background music, it really heating up the atmosphere.

I really like the FFX FMV's so much happens in them. And the graphics are awesome.

My favorite FMV.....

The scene in MGS where Snake caps Sniper Wolf. That movie left its mark on me to this day. It might not have been FMV (I don't know), but since it was a cinematic, I will call it one.

A few I like :
1.Ending of MGS
2. Recorder video during credits in FF8
3.The Blitzball tournament during the start of FFX
4.The Intro movie of FF8 where Squall and Seifer fought.
The best for me would be #2 :p

final fantasy 8 got me going on my craze about FMV in games, so, ff8 is one of the top FMV games for me. there are others however, such as...
final fantasy 7
final fantasy 9
chrono cross
final fantasy 10 (although i don't have this game, i was surprised how they did the CG in this game.... quite amazing. oh yeah, and rikku, can't forget about rikku *drools*)

the FMV that I liked on FF9 is the swarm of dragons vs. the aerial battleship! very cool! but the swing dance of rinoa and squall is the best one for me... makes me wanna look for my own rinoa!

i dont really like ff7 fmvs... the characters look too much like paperdolls... in ff8 the fmvs improved drastically

i like 'em all, but if i count the ones i ripped and watched the most:
suikoden 2 : opening.

THAT's such a nice theme isn't it?
and i like ALL the lunar 2 movies too

I would have to say that my fav is the opening to FF8. Actually, now that I think about it FF8 had a lot of gream FMV's

I thought FF9 had alot of great FMV's and they were probably as high quality as FF8... it's just that they used the more cartoonish style character modelling so alot of people aren't as impressed by them.

I was actually more impressed with the new, or should I say old, character design of FF9. It reminded me of the old FF's

Yeah, the whole ff8 ending is really quite good. It's my favorite as well.

The best for me, with no doubt, is the first FMV of parasite eve 1 when eve burn down all the theatre and is sounds as bgm the "aria di mezzo caratere". Also one of my favourites is te intro of Resident evil remake of the Gamecube.
