You're going to have to be a little more specific than that. There are a number of games where you can choose characters, including Saga Frontier, Saga Frontier 2 (well...sort of), and SD 3. There's also Live-a-Live (sort of...) and Romancing SaGa and more. :p

Isn't Secret of Mana 2... It's Seiken Densetsu 3!

Sanhime: lets you choose a lot of different characters or lets you choose different characters in start?

That's what I said : **`R or Seiken Densetsu 3, and Chrono Chross does allow you to play as a lot of characters, but only really at the end.

There are three.The second is Secret of Mana, and the third is the unreleased in the US/Europe, Secret of Mana 2. I can't remember what the first one was.
Maybe it's even 4. I don't know if Legend of Mana bore the **` name.
Anyway, Sanhime already said it was Saga Frontier.
