On the following system:
- AMD Athlon XP 1800+
- 512 MB RAM
- 3D Prophet GeForce3 video card
- Windows XP Professional Edition
I tried playing Super Robot Wars Alpha via ePSXe. It didn't run at correct speed until I used Pete's Soft Driver. Then, it worked perfectly fine, until the game has to access voice or miscellaneous sound samples (most often through robot cut scenes...I tried this with Wing Zero and GPO3 Gundam Dendrobium...but this also happens sometimes outside of battle when accessing a sound sample). Sometimes it'll play the sound/music sample, starting off slow, but other times, it'll just freeze there.
The easy way around that is to disable cutscenes, but that doesn't get around the few times where voices and whatnot are accessed outside of battle.
