Here are some shots of this GREAT StarWars game from Genius Lucas Arts! :D I just love ALL the StarWars games that Lucas Arts makes... They can really make some good games. The Graphics are WAY COOL!!! The soundtracks even better (old starwars style that really get you involved in the game). And one of the best qualities of the LA Starwars games is the story line. Altought the stories are not original from the StarWars Histories they have story lines that some how "merge" the original StarWars history. I don't know if you get my point :p On X-Wing Alliance for exemple! Another great game, in the game you are a kid who lost his familie and was forced to join the Allied forces where you flie all kind of allied space ships, and in one of the last missions you have to flie that Flacon ship (The one the HanSole flies, if you are familired with Startwars :p ) to destroy the DeathStar, and if you saw Episode VI there are a lot of ship's that enter the Death Star to destroy it, In X-Wing you're in one of them, together with HanSolo and commanded by Luke Skywalker. Got the point now? :D

I'm playing at 800x600 with every thing at max! But the shot's i took came out pretty dark and I had to increase the gamma! And that make the shots look a little crappy :p

Hey!! I got to the end of the game about 2 days ago! Also beat Dessan in less the 10 seconds. I mean, after I started attacking, cause I gave two laps around the arena first.

Also, I beat him again and took some shots. :p Here they are.

On this one i'm on the ground cause he made a force push when I was around the arena. After that I started attacking!

Luckly he miss this slash!

Yeah, I was surprised how easy Dessan was to beat when using the heavy saber stance... I was at a friends house, had played the game for about an hour total, and he says, here, try fighting Dessan. So I did... and beat him in about 30 seconds. :P


BTW, my fav thing to to, is at that part with those two Reborn and the AT-ST after you fight them, use mind trick on one of them. Then kill the other. :P

Both Murphy's and Cylinder's shots look cool but Cylinder's took waaay too long to load. I downloaded the demo and it ran really slow on my comp. If I ever get a better comp, I'll buy this game.

Yeah... in multyplayer you have several mods! Free For All (Classic Deathmatch), Jedi Master (one guy must get the lightsaber and then frag with it, only frags with the lightsaber will count), Team FFA, etc etc etc... And my favorite! Dual... with saber only of course! :p

Yep, it's possible. Enter the following in the console:

I just found out something in this game! There are several force levels that are locked that can be only obtained with cheats! if you use devmapall and then setforceall 5 you'll get two more saber styles and if you use the mind trick you can actually control the enemy! (has some bugs though)

the game does take a while to load, and there is also some incompatibilities with some PC. At my friends house (ReBolt) who has a better PC then mine it takes 5 minutes to load one level :p

For the screenshots u'll have to bind the command to a key!

Do this! press "SHIFT" + "\" (PT keybord, but it's the key left to the 1 one key in the same line, i think it's "~" in the US keyboard) any way, this will bring the console! Now type
bind "Q" "screenshot"

now just press Q and it takes a screenshot! They save some where inside the Data folder of the game

I have voodoo 5 but then I can make the resoution up to 1280x1024..but then when I put anti-alising it lags like crap...What are ur system specs Metalmurphy?

It's normal that it'll lag with anti aliasing if you max everthiing! When I'm playing with FSAA im using 800*600*32 and only 2* FSAA

I can't even play the game with my voodoo 5.. The graphics are all screwy.. My geforce4 on the other hand, runs it like nothing..

Here are some of my Jedi Knight shots using my Geforce 4 ti 4600.. These are with the high quality setting, 4xFSAA, 8xAnistropic filtering.. I also enabled volumetric shadowing in some of the shots.. This option really cuts FPS performance in this game.. With it off, it's 80+ fps all the time.. With it on, it's 60 to sometimes even 30 fps when there are lots of enemies..

BTW.. I used some cool cheats.. :) Realistic..

My geforce 4 ti 4600 is a little bottlenecked by my Athlon Xp 1700+.. Heck, even an Athlon Xp 2100 is still not using the full potential of it.. CPU upgrade coming to mind.. :)

Did you knew you can change your saber color! Here are some more cool comands you can use

sabercolor green/purple/yellow/red/blue
g_dismemberment 3 (if you turn this on with realisticcombat it will give a cool effect!
setforceall 5 (then use the mind trick on some enemy and you'll have 2 more fighting styles)

Another cool thing, with the realisticcombat on, bind the command taunt to some key! Draw the lightsaber then press the taunt key! He'll spin the saber around! Just get close to a storm trooper when he does that! hehehehe ;)

...you can select the view you like best, but it usually defaults to 3rd person when you use your lightsaber...
