Standard or progressive jpeg?

I'm continuing work right now on my Discography site, and I was just wondering what's better for the web: standard or progressive encoding? I mean, what's better for loading time's sake?

Neither of them will affect loading time, AFAIK. It's really a matter of how you want things to look as they're loading. Should users see the image downloading or not see it until finished downloading?

I think I personally would prefer progressive encoding.
Anyway as shadow said it wont effect loading times.
