Ok since only few days are remaining in the countdown ,I want to finish the things as soon as possible.
So in this thread please report all the games that DONT WORK in any emulator.(cvgs & epsxe are supposed to be most compatible of the lot).
It would be nice if you can provide some info about where the problem actually occurs.(basically it would be concentrated on either the game not running at all/hanging at early part/graphical errors that are not plugin specific).
So for some time please dont report problems with sound.
Note:-please try to keep this on topic.

All the games I have work great, but do you mean just plain old not working, or not working without a great deal of effort?

Well, Silent Hill freezes at the startup logo.
G-Pitts, I'm on chapter 8 on disc 2 of Valkyrie Profile. It hasn't locked up on me once. Send me a save state, and I'll get past those spots for you.

Well, what if it freezes at the ending? It does this in Megaman Legends 2. After the first ending scene it the screen goes white so it will go to the next scene but it freezes when the screen is white. I tried pressing F4 but ...nothing. It's not too important but I do want to try the other modes that open up when you beat the game.

I'm saying that epsxe doesn't go through the ending. The game plays fine up until that point. have you gotten it to play the ending? If so, please post your config.

Spyro 2 and Spyro 3 (European PALs). They are crashing when flying to certain new worlds. It's a copy protection not emulated yet. neither 'ppf's nor subchannel reading can help. (infos by peter bernert in these forums):

I already get past that point using epsxe 1.4.0, it only freeze at some dialog scene and not involve any battle scene... so I just force epsxe 1.5.1 to create savestate compatible with epsxe 1.4 and get past the point and after that load the savestate back to epsxe 1.5.1.

Okay Prafull, I don't know what the heck you are talking about that will be out in 2 or 3 days, bu I've got one for you. Army Men 3D. Oh you can play it, but it has such severe graphics glitches that you can't play it for long. So let us see if this "what-ever-it-is" can fix that game. It would be great if it could, but I doubt it. It won't even run properly under VGS.
sincerely,

i think most of the games are playable with epsxe...
cause it has a plugin support, if that plugin dont have this and then use the other... epsxe can also use patches for games that really wont run like PAL versions...
so i think compatability is also in the configuration...
as recca said tenchu 2 but Xeven commented that he has played tenchu 2 with no problems its just in the PC and maybe the owner...

if the game can't get past the opening screen and you have used every combination possible then it is a emulator probelm. like with vh2
