Here is PC spec for playing Max Payne (Pain)
Minimal sysytem requirement resolutions at 640x480 Świthout special effects
- Pentium III 450 Mhz
- 96 (!) Mbytes of RAM
- 16-Mbyte Direct3D videocard
Typical system resolutions at 800x600 with special effects (not full)
- Pentium III at 733 Mhz
- 192 Mbytes of RAM
- 32-Mbyte Direct3D videocard
Perfect system resolutions at 1024x768 with full special effects
- Pentium III at 1 Ghz(!)
- 256 Mbytes of RAM
- 64-Mbyte (!!!) Direct3D videocard
To play this game perfect you need 1 GHz PC and GeForce3...........
This is real pain for me (550 MHz user :p)

expensive game to play perfect... but its using the mad-fx engine... same one used in 3DMark2000, 2001, 3dmark 99 max, and one other one... cant remember the name..

Good games HAVE to fit all level users (so more people can feel happy - buy more softs - and the developer get money - everybody happy - and Bill gates:dead: fell more happy)
Max Payne is Nothing ... (well not exactly nothing ... whatever)
WAIT until DOOM 3 is out - then you can cry a whole month seeing your machine get burned ... ha ha hah ha uhk ough... ha mwaha haha hahha hhaa

hmm...Max Payne...it doesn't worth a wait (for me...) I've waited this game for 1-1,5 years after it's confirmed on a game magazine...but now, after the release, I just couldn't play it...I think it really is a pain...:D
mm..Doom III, I heard and I read it will be optimized for GeForce III users ... Is that right? Maybe NVidia and idSoftware is co-operating to eliminate us(non-GeForce III users), huh? hehe just a joke...;)

I think this happens all the time. A new card comes out and everyone optimises their game to run best on it. Hold on I think I hear a bunch of guys breaking into my hous...
ehehe. Luckily who Nvidia just nabbed a clone that they thought was me. The real me is playing old PSX games in a secret basement room where no one will disturb me.
