Sakura Taisen....in English?!?!?!

An IGN Insider article has this statement:

As it always does every Friday (and has been doing since the days of the Super Famicom), Famitsu released its latest issue, this one with front and back covers brought to you by the ASAHI brewing company (the covers are actually related to Kingdom Hearts, but Asahi had to have paid big bucks for this thing). Included in the issue is confirmation of Final Fantasy Tactics for the GBA (see IGN Pocket for the full story), a mini guide for Super Robot Wars Impact, and an interview with Sega's Tetsu Kayama in which Sakura Wars is confirmed for future stateside and European release and in which an ultra powerful Naomi 3 arcade board is revealed to be in the works

WOW! :D And it's reportedly going to be on the PS2!

Heard that quite awhile ago but back then it may have been a rumor. I also heard it was coming to the GC at one time. It is foolish to release it stateside until the anime has established a larger fan base imo. Does it have dating sim elements? I think I wanted this awhile ago without knowing much about it except for it being a rpg.

I remember reading about a port but a translation. I asloe remember reading that the makers of Sakura Taisen are done making games for that series, But I would like to try that series.
