April 20th, 2002, 07:56

April 22nd, 2002, 08:25
Who needs a pc version when theres emulation ?
April 22nd, 2002, 08:57
Thats a april fools joke or just a hoax. But it would be cool if ff9 came to PC.
April 24th, 2002, 02:50
It would suck square knows jack about how to port stuff
April 24th, 2002, 06:41
another great loss for square
April 25th, 2002, 04:47
Yeah, how can it expect people to buy any of their ported games when they suck (technically :)). Even if they wanted to make another port, it will damn hard to convince me to get it with my previous experience
April 25th, 2002, 06:38
Beleve it or not I have no problem with final fantasy 7 or 8 on the pc I played them from begining to end no slips up what so ever the only thing I was annoyed about was the midi versions of the music at the end like one wing angel on ff7 and maybe i am a lion on ff8
April 25th, 2002, 08:10
I also have had no problems with the two games, but I have a Voodoo 2. I think most people who have reported problems with them have a GeForce or Radeon videocard. I had loads of trouble trying to get FF7 working with my GeForce 2 (although it worked well on my TNT2).
April 25th, 2002, 08:17
I liked the FF7 port. But the FF8 port just made me mad at first. (I actually like it better now that I have a faster PC). It would constantly delete 3 of my cards, and it ran extremely slow, when games that looked much better ran quickly.
April 26th, 2002, 05:03
I never saw any trouble either with the ports. I have both of them and they work fine. The only thing that I didn't like about any of the ports was teh boost system for the FF8 Guardian Forces. It was too hard to pull off a full Boost with the normal GF's
April 26th, 2002, 09:08
I don't think you're ever supposed to get a full boost, except with Eden.
April 26th, 2002, 19:30
I never had a problem game either of the games and I have used a vodoo2, vodoo3, Geforce 2, and now a Geforce 3 and they still work. But the quality of the port still sucks. They should have redone the gpu to fit with pcs

I WANT FF10!!!!
May 6th, 2002, 03:34
Why ? FFX wasn't a very good game.
