tales of destiny

i really really liked the first tales of destiny way back wen i played it 5 years ago. i kno TOD 2 isn't a direct sequel, but im not worried about that. do you guys think tales of destiny 2 is worth buying? if so, is the battle system the same and is the game good or great?

From what everyone says, TOD II is an excellent game and difinately worth playing. I have the game also, bu I have not yet had time to try it out.

Hello. I have finished both Tales of Destiny and the sequel. In my opinion, if you love the first TOD, you will love the sequel. But if you didn't like the first one, the second TOD might catch your attention. It has the same concepts of battle system. The storyline is quite good, with a vast world to be explored. TOD2 has various of fun minigames and subquest. In term of graphic, the backgrounds and sceneries are beautifully drawn, and quite similar if you have seen Star Ocean 2. I hope that would help. :)

yeah, also played tales of destiny and I totally agree with fujita. It's a good rpg and if you like the first one, I suggest you to buy the sequel... no regrets

u should really buy ToD2, i played and beat this game first and after when i tried tales of destiny, it was like crap (no offence)
and the battle system is kinda like streetfighter with a few magic casters in the back

I liked tod2 but i liked the others two tales a well..so if like tod buy the second....if not don't buy it.

Yeah, TOD2 is good (even if it is sometimes boring).
Did you try Tales of Phantasia for the Snes? This one is really great.

tod 2 rocks. I still need to buy tod 1 but its nowhere to be found cept ebay and half the time its overpriced or somethings scratched or missing.
