HEHE, the people who kinda know me could see this thread coming.
But here's the shocking news: SETSUNA'S unblockable combo special is blockable:cry:
i was playing against my brother, he's playing mukuro as usual.
when i do my combo special, he sometimes blocks low. and as a result he just blocks my combo special (a>b>c>a>b>c>c>(qcf)b)
he also blocks the(a>b>c>(dwn)c>bc>(qcf)b).
damn, the only thing that works is the uppercut combo special, with the airgrab, which looks impressive and painfull too....

just to let u know that it's blockable somehow.... and that i'm totally freaked because now my world of the ultimate setsuna is shattered..... :cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

Doesn't really matter, since I play Lee with Speed. :)

Then he's still a weakling since all of his moves are TOO shortranged to be a real threath.... The character to use it shigen - power.... just use the special grab, that'll cancel out your rapid comboing....
yes i've been constantly trying people against each other.....

one pro that lee has is his rapid air kick and INSANE jumping distance.... but so has zantetsu and he's got a lot more slash in there

I can see you're really a LB fan... Shigen can be really deadly, but I find his attacks a little too hard to time properly. About Lee, his range and power are pretty weak, that's why I play very agressive, not giving the enemy any space or breathing time.

Anyway, I'm not trying to compare him to the others or something else, I just find him fun to play with.

Setsuna on any mode is a real killer, he does awesome damage w/ his b any is easily canceled to a combo.

Hibiki too is great specially when her life is critical coz her DM is very strong and is a nice combo ender

I'm still sold on Moirya. I kinda liked Setsuna, and I tried a few other characters, but I always go back to Moirya. His Batou-jutsu is really useful.

I play a combo of setsuna, mukuro, amano, shigen, moriya..... whatever character u choose.... there's an anti person.

Setsuna > just my most agressive player. Since his (dwn+fwd+C) is so quick, he can end any combo without the fear of reteliation.

Shigen > a good choice versus hibiki, the armor puch will stop all of hibiki's flashy moves except the downslashes and dm. but since hibiki has got no decent airdefence(BIG understatement) it's easy to come in from the air, wait for a block and use the special throw.
and he's VERY good for ex people who like to jump. His shout blast will eliminate 3/4 of a healthbar. his dm can be followed up with the throw.

Moriya > for jumpy persons. Use the high slash or moon glance, and teleport around a bit.

amano > hehe, big fake battle, u'll have to hit with DM's only cuz the rest is for the autocounter..... or dash attack.

mukuro > block damage alone...

Hmm well i didn't notice Setsuna's combo was blockeble when u slashed my character in 10 seconds.

I only like the guy with the fishing rod cuz i can'r make any half circles. Anyone got some tips.

Yeah, vtb had a match with me yesterday... he didn't last very long if i was playing serious.....(most of the time i'm just trying to do the impressive moves), my brother also is no match.... everyone i've played against can't beat me..... they all had 4-2 and 4-1 is easy also since then it's a dm fest

And yes Buttonbashers are n00b tactics and no Lee is effective if you can remember his combos

yes i remember his combo's against shigen - power..... at their max without combo special or desperation they can't remove more than half his lifebar. U shouldn't use a jump against shigen, for the nice airgrab, which will drain ur lifebar LIKE MAD. if u use the ground i'll just have to use the superarmor move. and if u still prove to speedy: shigen - ex (very weird, but don't try to outmanoeuver him, the only flaw he has then is his dash, the rest is INSANE)
