I know I posted this in another thread, but I really believe that this is where the thread belongs. If an administator disapproves, I want to request that the other thread (not this one) be deleted.
Epsxe introduced fixes to games that never used to work. Granstream Saga and Brave Fencer Musashi seem to work perfectly now. Epsxe also added a fix for Final Fantasy 7 music. I'm not sure if I can prove it, but I think the fix messed up the Final Fantasy 9 music. When a battle starts, the music gets caught on a note, which continues playing along with the rest of the song as the battle continues. When the battle ends, the victory song also gets caught on a note, making the victory song sound like it's being played twice but mixed. This bug is there no matter which GPU or SPU I am using. I don't think it has to do with my hardware. After all, look at my stats below.
No SPU IRQ's are enabled, in either the Eternal SPU or Internal SPU configurations. It sounds funny, but if I put back Epsxe 1.50 (not 51) then the music sounds perfect. It has to be the emulator.
I have tried all the SPU's and GPU's. They obviously aren't the problem. Perhaps it has something to do with the new addition of the Final Fanatasy VII music fix??? I'm just guessing.
