Greatest Game Series of All Time?

OK.. lets start this by having a criteria:

- The series MUST contain 3 or more to be included
* You can choose any genre and any console by the way(PC,PSX,SNES,SEGA,whatever):)

For my list:
Command and Counquer, Age of Empires, Warcraft, FF series, castlevania series, Super Mario, Sonic and Megaman

You could consider Snake's revenge as an official clone, Ghost Babel is a gameboy-version, a sort of alternate sequel to mg1 and 2

Ultima - 1 through 7 are some of the most detailed and richest storylines, creating the world of Lord British, maybe the deepest fantasy world of any series...haha, yeah there's also Ultima 8 and 9 plus the Ultima Underworld games and Ultima Online, but I didn't care for 8, 9 or UU too much, and I never played Ultima Online
Castlevania - NES, SNES, gameboy, GBA, PSX, N64, Genesis... damn what a slut! Castlevania really gets around... are there any PS2, Gamecube or X-Box titles yet?
Super Mario - great platform series, started it all for me
Final Fantasy - some of the best RPG's
Street Fighter - 2d, 3d, tag-team so many goodies!
Metal Gear... the NES ones are awesome but mad hard!
DOOM!!! - not that many installments, but incuding all the add-ons, expansions, and counting every episode... LOTS of levels

Mine, Breath of Fire series (2 on SNES and 2 on PSX), FF series (all, including FF adventure GB ard Mystic Quest), Castlevania series, Zelda series (all except Zelda 2 for NES :p ), Lufia series (2 on SNES 1 on CGB) and Dragon Warrior series. Also all Pac Man, MS Pac Man, JR. Pac Man games series, and Gauntlet series as well (1, 2, Legends, and Dark Legacy).

yes, heroes of might and magic is a very good series, im currently playing heroes 4... but i dont really like the other 2 game series you mentioned

4 looks like good game but when I went to buy best buy was so i bought dungen siege which is good. but c&c are great and so is the resident evil series.

one of the few features that i like about heroes 4 is that it allows you to take as many heroes as you want (but you cant take up more than 7 spaces :p) ... however, there is a big disadvantage to the game, first off there are now only 5 cities, (chaos city, nature city, order city, life city, and death city) and there are no monster upgrades, and each city can build only up to 5 of the 8 buildings, eg... if youre playing as the nature side, you can either get wolves, tigers, gryphons, and pheonixes, or you can go for sprites, elves, unicorns, and faerie dragons...

Delita, it's not just a mod's job to tell people to edit posts. It wasn't even like Strider bit his head off. Strider just politely told him to edit his post. Flaming him was really not neccessary. I might have done the same thing as Strider.

Now I am sure that when a mod sees this, the thread will be closed, but I would just like to say that Strider did nothing wrong. What you accomplished was merely inflame a situation that was perfectly peaceful.
