Postcounts in off-topic will not be counted anymore if i'm correct. As for official postcounts, you can check the members page for your count. l

the postcount will still increase when you post(in on-topic forums), it's just hidden.
And the title and stars would still change based on the counts. ;)

I guess i'll never see my location on posts cause, i don't know if its a bug or error that when i update my profile related to that area (Interests, bio, etc) it just doesnt change a thing

The reason it's being removed is so that people don't become elitist about having huge amounts of posts.... and then have a go at him when they lose them.

I think it's a good idea, personally. But I will miss seeing my post count go up. :D

I agree. Although it was nice to see me steadily fly up the board, It wasn't the reason I was posting, so maybe this will halt the people for whom it is

It probably will. But not me. :)

It's nice to finally have the location showing again...

I wonder if that has to do with the "phantom poster" bug we used to have. I vaguely recall you not being in the list, and the other two members I've seen with setting up locations were also in the group of phantom posters. The odds are something's still messed up with that group.

You are now, and you have been for the last couple of days.

> 2: i cant edit location either

As I mentioned.

I'm pretty sure the problem with the "phantom posters" is related to the current inability to change the location. Let me try something...Interesting. Very interesting. Can't comment on my findings here, but it's very annoying. :p

Good thing I asked Bobbi for it to be revived. :p It's yet another customizable feature that IMO is almost as good as a custom title.

When I first saw the changes, I didn't really notice that the post count wasn't there, but I knew something was different. I guess I wasn't thinksing straight for that time. :D

It's strange the search via the alphabet doesn't work, but you can find it through the top ten list - go to http://www.ngemu.com/forums/memberlist.php?s=&action=getall&what=topposters&ltr=&perpage=10&orderby=posts&ausername=&ahomepage=&aicq=&aaim=&ayahoo=&joindateafter=&joindatebefore=&lastpostafter=&lastpostbefore=&postslower=0&postsupper=0&direction=DESC&pagenumber=8

dont worry, i had to post something about this twice to get anyones attention i think, in the other place people started talking about other stuff, repetitiveness sometimes helps, just make sure you let some time pass by since it can be considered spam... luckily our neighbourhood board addict helped me out (btw that was meant as a compliment ;))
