Lol .. why is my thread locked without warning ? :D Umm .. well here are last three pictures.I must say that biggest disadvantage is camera. When you moving in dungeon, then sometimes you should see walls to be transparent, cause then you dont know who is attacking. You must rotate view, but you cant speed it up,only mouse cursor speed can be altered. Also when i said, that game is too easy, well it get hard when you go further into the game. Also speed get a lot slow when you are in cities.I know its complex game, but must it be really slow ? (like 25fps) Changing resolution, doesnt seem to affect speed at all.

these pictures are snapped in 640x480x16 cause of speed problems.

I just picked it up today. Got the stratagey guide as well. I haven't installed it yet, but when I do, I might (only might mind you) post some pictures in the screen shots forum.
Spajdr, as to why your first thread was closed:(, I haven't a clue. Unless it was that you posted all those pictures here and they really belong in the screenshots forum. All I know is, I did not close it.

i plan on picking up dungeon seige today. i won't be getting the guide with it though. :p
are you going to be jumping straight into multiplayer, or are you going to play some single player first?

well guys .. you will probably experience slow frame rates .. btw 30-40 fps .. this is known issue and there will be (soon i hope) patch about it.
Exodus : not sure if you asking me,but im playing it first as singleplayer, then again i will play it as SP,BUT only with one character :-)

Exodus, if your question was directed at me, then I am going to start out playing single player and then I am going to play the multiplayer map as a single player. Then I might try it w/just one character.

People if you have just like me only 128 MB RAM,dont expect to have play without constant hdd access, its nearly unplayable.Damn... this game is huge, but that graphic in caves .. outstanding .. when editor comes out ... cant wait. Im in swamps now .. 13 hours of play so far .. What is bad, that there is not something like town portal .. go back to stonebridge, when you are in swamps .. thats work for like 2 hours .. of course i dont need to go back :-)

Spajdr, what do you think about 640 megs of ram and a 1.4ghz T-Bird processor? That is what I will be playing with. I don't anticipate any slowdowns, but I could be wrong. Thanks for the warning.

What gfx card sxamiga?
If you have something close or a Geforce 2 gts then you shouldn't have a problem.
But if you have my oc'ed system I bet I can do 1280x768 (my favourite res) with QAA and 32bpp. :P

K.I.L.E.R, my graphics card is a GeForce4 TI 4600. With that card, plus my memory and processor ( Iknow that Spajdr's processor is better than mine) I think that I should be able to play Dungeon Siege w/out any slowdowns.

I have slowdowns mainly due to only 128 MB of RAM.
sxamiga : how much fps you have in cities ? (you can enable it in menu somewhere) also what graphic resolution you use ? I have only GF2 as you see,but i think,it could be faster ...

What about an AthlonXP 2.0 with 512 PC3100 333MHz DDRRAM , GF4 , 2x Altec Lansing 641's and a 21" monitor ? Well , thats my dream system :p . And I MAY get it later this year when the price drops a little more .....but maybe 19" is enough for me. 8 sattelites, 2 subwoofers with 400 watts of power each.... now thats what i call Sh!t ;)
edit:sorry , made it off topic :emb:

Hanamichi : doesnt matter what graphic card or memory you have, game mainly wants fast cpu, cause we all have similar fps even if we have different graphic cards.

Well Im running it on an ancient 500 MHz , 256MB PC100 SDRAM machine with GeForce2 MX, and Im getting 30 fps in the starting forest , about 20 when enemies are around and 5-10 when zoomed out to the most in town. Geez :(

my specs and below and when i run DS, there are a lot of slowdown so I set all the graphics to medium. I am running the game at 800X600 res, bilinear filteringand all complex shadows.
BTW, what does all complex shadows means? How does it works?
I will post some shots ASAP
spajdr

astroduck : complex shadows means that nearly everything have complex shadows (and if you move on light sources in dungeon,it looks realistic, shadow moves on,if you know what i mean),better change it to simple, cause it really slowdown game, also disable EAX,it slowdown game too,if you can live without it of course ;) There should be patch about speed soon (i hope) but as been said, game is slower due to cpu dependancy.

Im just started (playing for 4 hours) a new solo game on HARD, im pure nature mage, its hard, but playable :-) Here is screen that shows bug in Dungeon Siege, some objects are passable,i think problem is in flag or value in that object, because objects which are on left side arent passable.
