Hey,
I've been using Dreamweaver for about 6 months now and am starting to look into using fireworks to make my sites better.
I was just wondering if anyone knew any good sites for Fireworks noobs, cuz the tutorials etc that come with it seem to be a little crap :/ Ive only just started using it so easy to follow tutorials would be good
Thnx in advance for any help :)

I've got Flash, Dreamweaver Ultra Dev, and Fireworks and I don't know how to do anything at all with 'em :p Maybe I'll try to learn 'o these days. Actually, I don't even know what Fireworks does. You might want to check flashkit.com, they might have some Fireworks links, but don't be surprised if they dont :D

I use fireworks mainly just for graphics e.g. blends, banners, buttons and logos.
Any web pages get done it word pad cuase Front Page is pretty ****ty for php.
Example below (when Lycos's servers are running that is :( ):

GopherBroke: wow, you bought Fireworks without even knowing what it is? ;)
Anyway, I tried Fireworks once for 'bout 30min., and like any other macromedia product (excluding the flash player plugin), I didn't like it _at all_. It's kinda looked like an odd combination between vector/web/etc. gfx to me, like combining PSP with Illustrator but with less options and a crappier interface. No thanks..
But feel free to check it out yourself ;) Here's a couple of tut's, as you asked for in the first place:

As for Dreamweaver or Ultradev, I know what they're for but I can't think of any reason why I should use it. In fact, the only Macromedia program I like is HomeSite, and that's an html editor from Allaire, a company which MM took over (or merged with, for that matter).
