I can' play games online through internet....................

I don't know how this heppen..........
I still can surf web and check mail by normaly but I can't play games online through internet............
Not only 1 game can't play online
It 2 games at same time
Anyone know how to solve it please help me.....................
(2 games = Halfilfe(Mod) ,Unreal Tournament)

I setup games from CD

He means are they the original cds or cdr copies. Do you use a proxy? If so it may be setup not to allow game traffic. (I know that this is the case for myself)

I setup UT from my HD (Because my UT CD is broken).........
One more question.............
What difference between original and back up???

original = shop bought cd
backup = a 2nd copy that you make yourself.

This is probably not the problem as you have an orginal for HL. could you describe what happens when you try to start a muiliplayer game, any messages etc...

In Halflife
I choose internet game
Then appeared widows logging to Won (but it never log finnish so I click cancel) then I have server list
I refresh it 10-20 times not thing heppen
No answer from any server.................
In UT
I chose mutigame player
UT browser and click CTF DM AS tab
no any answer from them even I push F5 forever

Ok sounds like a proxy. You can check if you are using a proxyby opening internet options in control panel, going to connections tab then click settings. see picture below. (the reason for the black bars is I don't want anyone getting hold of my account details)

Ok scratch that one off the list. Next which version of hL or UT are you using. You will find it difficult to connect to any servers if you don't have the latest version. These are:

For HL : 1.1.0.6

For Ut: 436

You can check the version numbers by:

For HL: right clicking on HL.exe, and select properties

For UT: run the game the number in the top right of the screen.

If they are earilier versions patches are availible at the following links:

HL: ftp://ftp.sierra.com/pub/patches/pc/hl1106.exe

UT: http://www.unrealtournament.com/downloads/

:confused: Well that would be my list completely exhasted. Its obviously not communicating with the master servers for either half-life or UT. The only thing left is the isp (as you said). Sorry I couldn't be more help.:(

You old one must have been setup not to allow online gaming. There are a few like that over here also. In my case unfortunately since april I am charged extra for online gaming hence I have had to give it up as of late. However it doesn't stop me fragging the rest of the family on my network:D
