I'm at the part where the building is blowing up and you have to escape the inferno behind you. I'm at the very last part where you make it out to the snow and you're supposed to get on the train. It's impossible to fight off all the machine gun fire, and when I get to the train (with the *****ing Nazis still firing of course) the train door is still closed! Any tips? I'm at the end of my patience here...

No probs. I'll just move it there

that's odd...maybe you have to try to hold off the fire a bit longer.

No you can't; if you stay in the building the blast behind will instantly kill you, if you run and shoot your way out they will certainly fill you with bullets. :( There HAS to be a way out....

btw Samor, you haven't reached this part, have you? ;)

I have reached it and passed it...
I had almost no health left the first time I got there, so I replayed the "running through the building-part" a second time, now I had more health, ran out of the building, forgot that I had to go to the train, fired a bit more , then remembered I should get in the train and simply got in.
BTW, that's stome stupid point to be stuck in the game :P ,you'll notice that soon enough once you pass it ;P

Yeah, I know. :p I just wanted to get this over with as soon as possible. :p

oh well, I already uninstalled it in favor of Grandia 2. :p I'll consider this finished instead. :p

but now you'll miss out the cool "yeah you've made it"-part ;)
(dont worry, you're not really missing anything)

...btw, didnt the last mission remind you a lot of metal gear? ..metal gear in "rambo meets ww2"-style that is. :P

Samor

once you find out you can hide behind those....things :P, it's not that hard. The beach level is also the only part where you're NOT rambo.

Those two snipers at the shingle were kinda tough though. :p And you have to avoid mines at the same time too.

And when you start, you don't realise that those toothpicks can actualy provide good defense :p

I doubt the real soldiers at Omaha Beach found them to be good cover. :p

Omaha Beach was a "Blood Bath" as was the rest of the D-Day Invasion. But we knew what was in store, expected many many losses, and did gain a "foot hold". The rest, as they say, is history.:)

I respect Medal Of Honor Allied Assault because they manage to recreate the great landing incident at Omaha Beach successfully. For the first I see a very real and lively first person shooter game. Great job!
