astirling, i've tried iss pro evolution 2 several times on epsxe and it seems to work perfectly (graphic, sound, speed, etc) BUT, (I don't know if you'll experience this prob since I did experience but GABRIEL didn't) when I tried to load formation, it just stand still, doing nothing and epsxe must be restarted... you try it and tell me if your epsxe is fully working with iss pro 2...

configuration:

1. Graphic >>> pete's GPU 1.39, use fps limit (36-40), use frameskip, faster mdec, caching type : dynamic, quality: don't care (you can use 4-4-4-4 or 5-5-5-1 instead) and I don't turn Alpha Multipass on...

2. Sound >>> use anything is succesfully tested :)

Isn't 36fps a bit fast ???

I prefer 31 - I think 30 is more accurate though.

PS. I got it working. Thanks to everyone who replied.

hmm...astirling, you used 30 fps? is it fast enough? I dunno coz when I first try it, I tried it on epsxe 1.0.1 and I'm already used to 36...(right now, I even use 40 fps using epsxe 1.2.0)

do you experience the memory card problem (while loading formation, not loading the option file)

I use 32 fps for ISS pro 2. I think it's supposed to run at 30 though. I don't use frameskip though as my machines fast enough to run it around 90fps without skipping frames.

I'm using Lewpy's plug in. With Pete's the speed seems a bit erratic although older versions of his plug-ins worked fine.

I'll try the formation thing later.

I think you're right about the framerate. I now play at 35fps.

Oh and it crashed on my system when trying to save formations to the memory card.
