Yes, the game works!
However, I think the game is running too fast, the speed seems double for the action scene. I don't know if this is my problem but hope next version will make it...:yawn:

the game runs like 50~55 with frameskip on

No...Silent Hill will indeed play a little fast (actually we like it that way)....You can change your framerate limit to 50 to slow it down somewhat...

waah!!! what settings are you using?? When I boot SH1 the screen goes blank for a while and then...crash! Windows tells me the program has done an illegal operation and will be shut down..

Simple mode

Hey!!! I got mine Silent Hill working now!!! It must have been a matter of the cd drive. I recently got myself a brand new drive: a PlexCombo 20/10/40-12A by Plextor.
First I tried running Ehrgeiz on the emu using my new cd drive and it worked nearly perfect! Then I tried Silent Hill and wohoo!! No more crashing when I press boot cd. :)
The speech is all garbled up and the framerate is way too high, but otherwise the game seems to work now.
