I don't use XP my own, but I had the opportunity to test this game (you really mean Porsche Unleashed, right?) on a friend's house. He uses WinXP Home Edition, and no Win98 compatibility mode was needed. May depend on your machine specs, but no real big deal.

Almost all games work if we're using compatiblity mode except for VGS:(

For me compatibility mode never works with anything... Not that I need it with epsxe of course... But everything that doesn't work with WinXP, it usually won't work using XP's Win98 compatibility mode. In fact, not only won't lots of stuff work, but it'll lock up my ststem and cause other irritating problems. I've had the most problems with EA sports games. I was pissed when EA said they decided to NOT make an NBA Live 2002 for PC (they're only developing it for console)... so I still use 2001 and just download new roster patches every month or so. However NBAL2k1 wouldn't work under XP! The only way I could get it to work was by using some weird bootleg spanish crack of the .exe file (I actually BOUGHT the game - and the crack requires the CD to work anyway - so it's not really anything illegal... errr, actually I'm sure it was designed to do something illegal but I didn't use it for that purpose and I don't think it would've worked as a crack anyway :heh:) and even still it just randomly locks up occasionally.
