To all,
I'm using Project 64 in 'Windows Xp', with 'Jabo's DX7 Plugin', and an 'ATi Radeon 64MB DDR VIVO' graphics card. Now, i'm trying to play Banjo Kazooie, Zelda64 and Zelda2. At the moment, when I try to play Zelda2 or Banjo Kazooi, it loads, but the screen is black and it stays that way, but Zelda64 works. When I try to quit PJ64 it 'Stops Responding'. So, I was told that a setting on my 3D Card may be responsible for the problem, so I took a setting called 'Colorfill' off, and the reslut was that Banjo works, but Zelda2 still doesn't 'AND' Zelda64 doesn't work. If I turn 'Colorfill' on, Zelda64 works, but Banjo and Zelda2 don't. Zelda2 refuses to work either way. I really need a solution to this problem. Any one with advice, i'm really gratefull for the input. Thanks in advance.
Mike ;)

from what I've heard zelda 2 doesn't work very well if at all. What kinda hardware do you have (you can avoid having to retype your hardware config by puttin git in your sig area).

I also have a 64ddr vivo and both of those games run perfect for me (infact Im playing majora's mask at the mo)..
I use jabos 1.40 for all the plugins and everything is on default settings..
Could it be your drivers for your card producing the problems or have u messed with the settings in PJ64 ?
I'd clear the registry and reinstall PJ64 then retry it or try the driver set that Im using for your card..
I use this set of Omega drivers (Install if u like but dont expect your video in to function with these optimized drivers) theres a newer set of driver on omegas page but I havent tried them yet.
[edit]I see your using xp and Im on 98se so those drivers wont work for you :( another thing to try is see whether your mm rom is a good dump[edit]

Sorry for the delay. Well, I still have the same problem, and I don't know what to do.
'JAZ', I haven't messed with any settings that I think could cause this problem. I've cleared the registry setting of PJ64, thus reseting it. I config it as par normal, but same problem. I'm using the most recent drivers from 'Omega' at the moment (Omega XP 1.1.43 R2). As for my system specs, they are as below:
AMD Athlon XP 1600+ (@1400Mhz),
384 MB SDRAM,
ATi Radeon 64MB DDR VIVO,
Soundblaster Live! Value,
20GB Samsung Hardisk,
Windows XP Pro.
As always, all the help is greatly appreciated.
P.S I'm using Radeonator 1.50 (tweak) if it matters.

Well, I just tried something. Now, when I use either 'Jabo's DX6/7 1.40' plugins, both Banjo and Zelda2 don't load. But, I got 'Jabo's OpenGL 0.7' plugin a while ago and I tried using that.
So, I tried Banjo. It started but the graphics were all scrambled and yellow, and followed by a windows error message, 'Send Report'. When I tried Zelda2, instead of staying black, it gives the same error message as Banjo...it doesn't even start.
I origionally thought maybe it could be the settings for Direct3D on my computer, but when OpenGL faces the same problems, I begin to wonder.... . Well, I haven't given up. It was working before and i'll get it to work again, and i'm sure all the help I get here will speed up the proccess. Thanks to all in advance.

'JAZ', i'd really appreciate that. I have a dual-boot with Windows ME, and Project 64 works perfect in it for some reason, but I didn't wanna mention that cause I didn't want to hear the solution was to use ME cause what happens if the same happens in ME? Well, as I said above, i'd really appreciate your help 'JAZ'.
