Good Afternoon,

I've been pretty good at emulation since last decade with the easier emulators but have run into a horrible problem trying to get a DC emulator to run. I've done the leg work and followed the multiple "how-to," videos posted on youtube, as well as found the bios and flash files so desperataly needed. Still, I'm stuck, I'll run down what I'm doing/using:

1) NullDC (version 1.0.3)
2) Using .CDI files of my games

Now, the sound is amazing, nothing wrong there. However whenever I load (have tried 6 different ones) to load a game, the video goes to hell. Enclosed is a screen shot of what I'm talking about: ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/824/nulldcvideoproblemexamp.png/)

I can't for the life of me figure out what the problem is. I've downloaded/installed the latest versions of C++, directX, and ensured all the settings were correct (cross-referencing 3 different "how-to," videos from youtube). I've even tried 4 different sources of the nullDC program as well as the bios and flash files. Here is my computers specifications (doubtful it would be that since I can play other emulators from different past game systems, but you never know):

Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2200 2.20Ghz processor
3GB RAM
Windows Vista 64
Intel G33/G31 Express Chipset Family Video
500GB HDD (barely half full)

Please point me in the right direction, knowing my luck it's probaly something right in my face I'm not seeing.

It could be that your Graphics Card is not powerful enough.. is it integrated?

Indeed it is, I'm hoping it's not that as I have run mame32 with no problem as well as plenty of other games and emulators with no problem, I probaly willl have to look into an upgrade but I know it'll be a PITA since I'm dealing with a pretty standard off the shelf computer bought direct from HP. Still though I appreciate the help, if you can think of anything else pleaSe keep me posted, I figured it would be a setting issue but I'll definitely look into an upgraded video card

You're using an older version of nullDC. The newest versions have MUCH better graphics and most, neigh, virtually ALL of the major video glitches have been fixed since then. Your computer should be able to handle it.

Sweet tiny little baby Jesus that worked lol! No, seriously thank you so much, All I did was transfer the two files over (bios & flash) and now it works perfectly. Now, the only thing I'm hosed on now is how to get this old thrustmaster USB gamepad or Xbox 360 controller to work with the emulator and I'll be golden.

I thought we had support for those controllers. You might have to do some experimenting for that.

My old ass 12-button thrustmaster gamepads work however they just feel weird, still trying to get my PC to do more than just charge the xbox 360 controller once that is complete I'll be gtg with programming xpadder.I do think a better GPU will help but thatll be another weekend

You don't need xpadder etc... to use your controller.

See the "PuruPuru" plugin by Falcon4Ever to set your controller correctly.
