Hello, I've just started using Xebra lately, and really like the overall feel of the emulator. I've just got one question though. Has anyone on Gods Green Earth figured out how to configure analog controls for this emulator?!

It seems like everywhere I've searched, the general consensus seems to be, "Yes I think it's possible, No I don't know how to do it." Clearly the controller config screen seems to indicate the possibility of analog controls, but yet everything I've tried proves fruitless.

I'm beginning to think that this is in fact not currently possible with this emulator and that the analog control settings only exist as a placeholder for future enhancements. Does Dr. Hell have any input here that anyone is aware of?

Thanks in advance for any advice and/or suggestions!

I could be wrong, but it doesn't seem possible to set the analog controls for use with a keyboard or any other device that uses buttons only.

I have a very basic controller that has two analog sticks. XEBRA responds to them as 1:Xpos for the horizontal on the left stick and 1:Ypos for the vertical, 1:Zpos for the right stick's horizontal and 1:Rpos for the vertical. The values in the boxes are most likely to do with the 'deadzone' of the sticks.

I think the reasoning behind the implementation is that that sticks are capable of full 360 degrees of rotation, whereas keys on a keyboard (i.e. up, down, left, right) would not be.

I use a wireless Logitech PS2 controller (worth every penny i paid) to play through a Mayflash Super Joy Box 5 Pro and I don't have any problems with Xebra detecting the analog controller. However, I cannot configure the buttons using version 110425 and I have to roll back to version 110203 to do it.

If you're using an actual controller, I'd suggest seeing if rolling back to another version will help. If you overwrite the .exe and keep the .ini files for xebra, the controller configs will roll over to future versions.
