There are a lot of fighting games on the PSP I like, but there are fighting games on many systems. So what fighting game do you like on the portables?

Examples I'm thinking about are Street Fighter Alpha 2, Tekken 2, Guilty Gear ##Reloaded, BlazBlue, those kind of games.

Dissidia is fun.

All of mine are GBA era (though these days I tend to play them on my cellphone). It's kinda of a draw between Gundam SEED : Battle Assault and DBZ Supersonic Warriors. I admit these can't hold a candle to something like a portable version of Guilty Gear but it's as good as 2D fighters on my phone (and thus on the go since my handhelds virtually never leave the house) get.

My favourite "portable" fighter would be Final Fight 3 for the snes emulator on PSP, followed by the Guilty Gear and Blaz Blue efforts on the PSP.

Tekken: Dark Resurrection (PSP) was amazing; it featured very refined combat mechanics, enough different modes and a huge cast. Dissidia / Duodecim would be my other pick, granted it's not a "pure" fighting game but that game becomes addictive without you noticing it~.

Admittedly, I can't think of even one fighting game released on the DS~.

Well that one doesn't have a western version so unless you speak moonspeak it doesn't count.

This is not a handheld game but i wish Square-Enix would take over it and make a great FF-like game out of it. i guess it would be very great for handheld and normal consoles.
