Anybody get NFL Gameday 2002 running...? I can get all the intro's working just fine.. but when it comes to the Loading screen it freezes. epsxe doesnt lock up so it is not that.. but the game itself doesn't.

dude! that's the same problem i have with madden 2002. epsxe eventually crashes though, with the message window showing through the display

btw, my computer specs are as follows:

amd k6-2 500 mhz cpu
asus v7700 deluxe (geforce 2 gts 32 mb ram)
sb live 5.1
8x dvd rom
creative 4224 cdr-w (24x4x2)
running win 98, me, AND xp

please help as I went out and bought the game, and now my psx doesnt read any games... im left to using epsxe for ALL my psx needs..

Also, I cant get it to run in VGS either (which I posted on VGS msgboard), but CAN, of all emus, get it to run in Bleem! haha
Ill give this post a couple more days to see if someone can help, if not then Ill post on games that dont work......:)

mine works fine with some glitches, use pete's opengl

I dont have the game so cant help.
Three possible solutions-
1.toggling accurate cd rom timing option.
2.Pressing f4 when hangs.
3.Find a save state from someone whose game is working.

I DO use Pete's OGL, but also tried most all the others too hehe....

Update to situation. I DL'ed 1.5.1 and now all the sudden it works very very nice... there are some sound issues (just some skipping and repeating, but I belive it is a cdrom issue, as Im using an 8x dvd rom...) TY to the emu makers and all involved for a WONDERFUL emu..... WOOT!

hmmm...? football games work with ePSXe 1.5.1? gotta try that later.

Aye, and it works very well now, just a small sound stutter problem. But, I can live with that compared to not being able to play it all ...:) Found that it was not my cdrom as I made an ISO and it still has sound issues. Best I can get it is with the core SPU.
