View Full Version : Download Link for ePSXe and Plugins?

I remember that ngemu used to have a small page which aggregated all the ePSXe downloads, BIOS, and plugins. What happened to that? When I click on the appropiate links in the left navigation pane I only get unsorted news. Also non of the download links work.
Am I missing something obvious or is the site in a transition period?
Thanks in advance.

Evil ducks took down the old download system.
PS1 emus and plugins can be grabbed from a forum-tied downloads system now (or their own author's sites).

I guess it sort of sucks that you had your epsxe taken down, reformatted computer, deleted or whatever. It's a pretty good emulator, however I do think the PSX emulator is much easier without all the configurations.

I actually have a version of ePSXe - but I made a modification for Final Fantasy Tactics and was wondering where I should send new users to download ePSXe from.
You can view the modification at FDIC Approved. (http://www.nexus-studios.org/)

You could probably just try the Welcome to the official ePSXe website (http://www.epsxe.com) site. Enhanced Playstation Emulator. That would be my best bet since they have those from older epsxe emulators up to 1.7.0.

Yeah, it doesn't have the plugins and bios there does it? I want to make it as simple as possible for people to get things up and running. Some people may not even have a basic understanding of emulation. So I gave them a link to a guide from Fantasy Anime - Video Game Emulation for Newbies (http://www.fantasyanime.com/emuhelp/index.htm)
And then also a link to the download section here.

BIOS = copyrighted material, ergo no share...
NGEmu takes a "no tolerance" stance against the trading/sharing/discussion of illegal software, also known as warez. Links to or requests for illegally-obtained commercial material, such as ROMs, ISOs, or BIOS images will not be tolerated. Even if you own or have owned a game/console, downloading a commercial game/BIOS still illegal.

People ought to just read what to do using another site's Sticky. But it's so stupid cause some people still ask you how to do things, and they still have to read what you explain to them. They just ought to read what the FAQ or Sticky says and no one would have that problem.

That's all well and good, but it would have been nice to include a link with all the plugins in one download, too. Having to download all of them one by one is demoralizing...
