AMD athlon II X3 SO LAG?

my CPU is AMD athlon II X3 440, i think it is a good CPU but why when I play mario kart DS, It is sometimes smooth,but when the race start shortly, it so lag?:mad:

Other games have same problems

my friend have cpu pentium D and he play it smoothly.IS MY CPU SLOWER THAN PENTIUM D?

Are you using the soft rasterizer?
You should be getting basically the same performance as your friend as you have similar clocked processors and your is actually more efficient.

Other than that check DeSmuME's FAQ on their official homepage for speedup ideas.

Also make sure you're using the latest version.
